Hi Friends!
There's literally almost no news this week, but I'm going to try my best. The most exciting item on the agenda is that tonight is the first Thursday night concert at Station Plaza of the season. The event starts at 6:30.

On to some quick hits!
Quick Hits:
  • The only highlights I really have are both from pg.4 of last week's Webster-Kirkwood Times:
    • First, a nice explanation of what's going on with the Greenbriar pickleball courts. Whichever side you fall on, a city needs to be able to enforce noise ordinances. I don't quite understand if the judge is ruling that all noise ordinances are arbitrary and capricious or just the County's is. If it's the former, the judge is an idiot. If it's the latter, it sounds like Kirkwood needs a noise ordinance.
    • Just below that: the exciting news that Ladue is considering its first ever apartment project near South McKnight Road and Old Warson Road. And at 235 units, it's a behemoth. I hope it's approved. New homes in surrounding communities helps give Kirkwood renters more leverage over landlords and more affordable rents just like new apartments in Kirkwood do. The owners of The James would have to compete with the owners of Rock Hill Quarry apartments to attract tenants, and that's a good thing.
That's all for this week! Have a great weekend, everyone!
