Another light week this week, but I was able to dig up a couple things

- Tonight's City Council work session agenda brings news that the Council is once again preparing to vote on drastically tightening stormwater mitigation requirements. Very little has changed about the proposed rules since the Council first heard testimony from numerous industry professionals that these rules will increase the cost of both buying and maintaining a home in Kirkwood. More to come.

- The 100-year anniversary of the library is coming up, I'd like to once again suggest the centennial anniversary of this venerable institution would be a great opportunity to add a small cafe in the vestibule/gift shop staffed by volunteers. Not only would it provide another potential source of revenue, it would also make the library a more hospitable place to work
